‘Galvanising has been around for 150 years, so the process belongs to the old economy’, explains Paul Niederstein, who manages the company’s skills together with Philippe Dupont and Dr Ulrich Wellen. ‘But the attraction is that new applications are always being discovered which are absolute new economy, for example the whole renewable energy segment. You’ll not find a wind turbine, a solar or offshore construction without galvanised parts.’
