PreGa stands for Precision Galvanising – a procedure which was developed by the company itself, right up to market maturity. ‘This is how we can close the gap between galvanising and batch galvanising in the normal temperature range’, explains Niederstein. ‘The process involves applying thin coats which are highly robust and provide excellent corrosion protection.

We don’t know of any other company in the whole world which provides this procedure – applied in the same way as we do. We intend to continue extending this business field in the future, which is why we brought these activities into an independent company two years ago.’ In total over 400,000 tonnes of steel and several million square meters of steel and metal are finished each year for the five business fields Automotive, Blacksmiths, Steelwork, Serial Products and Steel Trade.
